Abstract

Seriframe as a conventional mountage has a high cost the traditional silkworm farmer. Therefore it is necessary to find out other alternative mountages that can be used with a minimum cost and easy to find materials but not decreasing the cocoon quality and productivity. The research was conducted from March first to March 30th 2006 in two places, at forestry research station, Dramaga, and at forest research and nature conservation and development center, Ciomas, Bogor.
