Reproduksi mencit (Mus musculus) yang diberi pakan mengandung protein sel tunggal sebagai pengganti tepung daging dan tulang dalam ransum
Abstract
This researclx was conducted to study the effects of Single Cell Protein (SCP) as substitutes of Meat and Bone Meal (MBM) on the reproduction of mice. A total of 50 mice which divided into 25 units, each units consist of a co~~polef male and female were used. This study used Randomized Comp1e:e Design consist is 5 tretments and 5 replicates. T!le treatment were : 1) R1 (6% MBM and 0% SCP), 2) R2 (4,5% MBM and 1,5% SCP), 3) R3 (3% MBM and 3% SCP), 4) R4 (1,5% MBM and 4,5% SCP) and 5) R5 (0% MBM and 6% SCP). Feed and water was given ad libiturn. The results showed that treatment were signivicantly (P<0.01) affect feed intake of dams and childs weight gain but did 1101 affect final weight of dams, dams weight gain, litter size and birth weight of youngs. The best level of Single Cell Protein as substitutes Meat Bone Meal is 3% SCP or 50% substituted MBM. Jt is concluded that 50% MBM could be replaced with SCP in mice diet without affecting mice reproduction. Key words : Single Cell Protein, Meat and Bone Meal, Mice, Reproduction
