| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this research was to know the relationship between characteristic of chicken broiler farmer at Leuwiliang and their activity rate of searching information with agribusiness oriented behavior. The research conducted on September 29" - October 29" 2005 in Leuwiliang Sub district, Bogor Regency West Java. Attitude aspect of agribusiness oriented behavior is in high rate, knowledge aspect in a medium rate, and the action aspect also in a medium rate. Chi square test with significant at 0.05 tells that there are high relationship between characteristic of farmer with agribusiness oriented behavior, especially with ages, experiences, and scale of husbandry. There is relationship between agribuiiiess oriented behavior with broiler farmer communication activity, especially when they do communication with the extension officer.
