Tatalaksana dan produktivitas kambing peranakan etawah pada peternakan rakyat Kecamatan Kaligesing Kabupaten Purwowo

Abstract

Etawah grades are dual purpose goal those origrnally make up by grading up of Kacang goats (local) with Etawah goats (imported from India). Etawah grade goats are a breed that produce meat and milk which kept in smallholder farms. In . order to understand the productivity of the goats, a study was conducted in Kaligesing Purworejo Jawa Tengah from July to September 2005. The data were collected h r n 35 farmers who live in seven villages of Kaligesing. Secondary data were obtained from both of Kantor Kecamatan Kaligesing and Dinas Peternakan clan Perikanan Punvorejo. Data was then analyzed using descriptive method.
