Pengaruh penempatan tempat air minum dan bentuk fiisk pakan terhadap performa itik lokal jantan

Abstract

Local male duck management is potential for additional income for farmer. However, inefficiency in utilizing the feeds becomes obstacle for the farmer to manage male ducks. Among them, one of the efforts is the method to feed the ducks. Therefore, the purpose of this research to study the effect of positioning of the drinking water container and physical from of the feed on the performance of the made ducks. Thus research was conducted in Faculty of Animal Science, Bogor Agricultural University from July until October 2005. Complete random design was used with 2x2 factorial. The first factor is the positioning of water container (Inside or outside of feed container) and the second factor is physical feeds form (crumble and mash).
