dc.description.abstractThe objectives of this research is to find the best parameters value for designing basin, mixing and aeration system, to optimize the process design and process controls, to simulate activated sludge process that consists of the BOD removal only, BOD removal with nitrification, Biological nitrogen removal for anoxic/aerobik process, and Biological phosphorus removal, using a computation model of activated sludge process based on UML (Unified Modeling Language). The calculated data was analyzed by using calculation of each process at activated sludge process. Activated sludge process design covers determination of the aeration basin volume, the amount of sludge production, the amount of oxygen needed, and the efluen concentration. The computation model of activated sludge process consists of BOD removal only, BOD removal with nitrification, biological nitrogen removal for anoxic/aerobik process, and biological phosphorus removalen
