The development of broiler chicken farms may cause negative impacts such as emissions include hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and particles of dust. Environmental quality is very necessary for broiler chicken. The levels of gases and dust is affected by environmental condition. Information of the levels of H2S, NO2, and dust in broiler chicken farms in Bogor Regency has not been widely available. The purpose of this study was to assess the levels of H2S, NO2, and dust from broiler chicken farms with different environmental conditions. This research was conducted on Bagus Farms that located in West Semplak, Kemang District, Bogor Regency (170 above see level) and Ikhtiar Farm that located in Cikoneng Talang, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency (520 above sea level). This research was conducted during October until November 2010. The result shows that the levels of H2S, NO2 and dust at two research sites were lower than basic standard of H2S, NO2 and dust consisted in ambient air. The level of H2S, NO2 and dust in Ikhtiar Farm that was lower than in Bagus Farm was caused by enviromental condition (temperature, humidity, wind speed and altitude), broiler chicken farm condition (roofing, the broiler chicken farm system) and condition around the broiler chicken farm (agriculture area and plants planted around broiler chicken farm). However, the further researches on emissions inventory from broiler chicken farms is needed to provide a comprehensive data of emissions from broiler chicken farms in Bogor Regency
