dc.description.abstractDuck is one of poultry that needs to be improved in production of eggs and meat. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of feeding beluntas leaf powder, vitamin C and vitamin E on percentage of carcass, breast, thigh and abdominal fat of male Cihateup ducks. The diet treatments were commercial diet as control (K), commercial diet + beluntas leaf meal 0,5% (KB), commercial diet+beluntas leaf meal 0,5%+250 mg vitamin C (KBC), commercial diet + beluntas meal 0,5% + 400 mg vitamin E (KBE). Ninety six ducks were used in this research and were reared from DOD up to 10 weeks of old. The research was conducted at Department of Poultry Production Faculty of Animal Science Bogor Agricultural University. The experimental design used was randomized block design with four treatments and three replications. The results showed that feeding beluntas leaf powder 0,5% significantly decreased (P<0,05) percentage of breast. Feeding control, control + 0,5% beluntas leaf powder + vitamin C 250 mg/kg and control + 0,5% beluntas leaf meal + vitamin E 400 IU did not affect the parameters observed. The conclusion of this study was that feeding beluntas leaf, vitamin C or vitamin E did not affect to carcass, thigh and abdominal fat.en
