dc.description.abstractIn making dynamometer to become simple, inexpensive, easily without losing the aspect of technology by using vehicle components which are easily found in the market and also has affordable price, we can possibly using the disc brake. The method which is used in this research is the method that commonly based on the functional design approach and the structural design approach. In structural design approach, it was carried out by making the braking systems and a framework dynamometer system that is equipped with a cradle for the engine to be tested. In functional design approach, that’s transmission of power using chain and sprocket. It can be able to reduce the dynamometer rotation. The braking system is used to give the load on the machine that will be measured for the torsion and maximum power.en
