| dc.description.abstract | Kinds of local chickens in Indonesia are Kampung chicken, Pelung chicken and its cross bred (Nagrak chicken). Kampung chicken is prefered by the people because of its crisp meat and its resistance to desease and easiness of its maintenance. Pe1ung chicken is prefered by the people because it has long and deep voice, and the fast growth. Nagrak chicken is cross bred of Pelung chicken and Kampung chicken where is done in Nagrak Sukabumi. This research was carried out in three villages: Ciherang village Bogor, Nagrak village Sukaburni and Tegallega village Cianjur. The research was conducted April to June 2001.
