      Abstract
      Puyuh merupakan unggas yang sensitif terhadap perubahan lingkungan, khususnya suhu dan kelembapan sehingga rentan mengalami cekaman panas yang dapat mempengaruhi tingkah laku dan kenyamanannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan kipas otomatis berbasis internet of things (IoT) terhadap mikroklimat kandang dan tingkah laku puyuh. Metode penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dua faktorial dengan faktor pertama penggunaan kipas (tanpa kipas dan kipas otomatis) dan faktor kedua yaitu waktu pengamatan (pagi, siang, dan sore). Pengamatan tingkah laku dilakukan menggunakan metode scan sampling. Hasil menunjukkan adanya interaksi sangat nyata pada tingkah laku panting. Penggunaan kipas berpengaruh nyata terhadap tingkah laku makan, panting, dan istirahat, sedangkan waktu pengamatan berpengaruh nyata terhadap tingkah laku makan, minum, bergerak, panting, dan istirahat.
       
      Quail are poultry species that are sensitive to environmental changes, particularly temperature and humidity, making them vulnerable to heat stress, which may affect their behavior and comfort. This study aimed to analyze the effect of an internet of things (IoT)-based automatic fan system on the cage microclimate and quail behavior. The research employed a two-factor factorial completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor was fan usage (without a fan and with an automatic fan), while the second factor was observation time (morning, afternoon, and evening). Behavioral observations were conducted using the scan sampling method. The results showed a highly significant interaction between fan usage and observation time on panting behavior. Fan usage significantly affected feeding, panting, and resting behaviors, whereas observation time significantly influenced feeding, drinking, locomotor, panting, and resting behaviors.
