      Abstract
FIRMANSYAH FATUROHMAN.

FIRMANSYAH FATUROHMAN. Production Performance and Business Feasibility of African Catfish (Clarias sp.) Grow-out at Different Stocking Densities in Round Tarpaulin Ponds with Intensive Water Exchange. Supervised by APRIANA VINASYIAM and IRZAL EFFENDI. Catfish (Clarias sp.) is a leading freshwater aquaculture commodity in Indonesia, with national production increasing by an average of 3.61% per year, reaching more than 1.15 million tons in 2024. This study aimed to measure the production performance, business feasibility, and supply chain of catfish grow-out at different stocking densities using round tarpaulin ponds with intensive water exchange at the BDP Experimental Pond, Department of Aquaculture, FPIK IPB. Catfish fry (3.95 ± 1.27 g; 8.36 ± 0.91 cm) were reared for 76 days at stocking densities of 150 fish m?³ (PT150) and 250 fish m?³ (PT250) with three replications using a completely randomized design (CRD). Feed was provided at satiation twice daily, while water quality management and sampling were conducted every 14 days. The results showed that PT250 produced the best production performance, as indicated by final individual length, final individual weight, and absolute weight growth rate. Meanwhile, business feasibility analysis showed that PT150 yielded the best business performance. Supply chain analysis identified several alternative seed suppliers around the research location, with variations in price and distribution distance.
