Pengujian mutu susu di PT XYZ masih menggunakan metode konvensional yang memakan waktu lama. Penelitian ini membandingkan akurasi Milk Analyzer berbasis ultrasonik dengan metode konvensional melalui desain eksperimental terhadap 10 sampel susu sapi segar (5 ulangan). Analisis data menggunakan uji presisi (%RSD), uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, serta uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. Hasil menunjukkan kedua metode memenuhi standar presisi %RSD yang ditetapkan kecuali parameter total solid dan Solid Non Fat. Uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan signifikan pada parameter kadar air (p value = 0,47) dan Total solid ( p value = 0,24), namun terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada lemak, Berat jenis, dan SNF (p value < 0,05). Perbedaan ini disebabkan oleh prinsip sensor ultrasonik dan karakteristik biologis susu non-homogenisasi. Disimpulkan bahwa Milk Analyzer efektif untuk screening cepat, namun memerlukan kalibrasi dan validasi berkala guna menjamin akurasi jaminan mutu. Milk quality testing at PT XYZ currently relies on time-consuming conventional methods. This study compares the accuracy of ultrasonic-based Milk Analyzers with conventional methods using an experimental design of 10 fresh cow milk samples (5 replications). Data were analyzed using precision tests (%RSD), Shapiro-Wilk normality tests, and Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Tests. Results showed both methods met precision standards except for total solids and Solid Non-Fat (SNF). The Wilcoxon test revealed no significant differences in water content (p value = 0.47) and total solids (p value = 0.24), but significant differences existed for fat, specific gravity, and SNF (p value < 0.05). These discrepancies are attributed to ultrasonic sensor principles and the biological characteristics of non-homogenized milk. In conclusion, the Milk Analyzer is effective for rapid screening but requires regular calibration and validation to ensure quality assurance accuracy.
