| dc.description.abstract | Biosafety Cabinet (BSC) salah satu alat yang menciptakan lingkungan kerja steril. Pada laboratorium mikrobiologi PT XYZ belum memiliki Intruksi Kerja (IK) uji efektivitas paparan lampu ultraviolet, sehingga dilakukan pengujian untuk memenuhi standar sterilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan, mengidentifikasi uji kemurnian kultur bakteri Enterobacter aerogenes di laboratorium mikrobiologi PT XYZ, mengetahui efektivitas paparan lampu ultraviolet pendahuluan pada BSC 1, BSC 2, BSC 3, mengetahui pengaruh variasi durasi efektivitas paparan lampu ultraviolet dalam mereduksi bakteri Enterobacter aerogenes 10^1-10^8 CFU/mL selama 15, 20, dan 30 menit. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perbandingan jumlah koloni yang tumbuh antara sampel kontrol dan sampel yang diberi perlakuan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemurnian kultur Enterobacter aerogenes diidentifikasi dan menunjukkan kultur yang sesuai sebagai bakteri uji dalam penelitian. Lampu ultraviolet pada BSC 1, BSC 2, dan BSC 3 masih memiliki efektivitas baik dalam menurunkan jumlah mikroorganisme target. Variasi waktu paparan sinar ultraviolet selama 15, 20, dan 30 menit menunjukkan efektivitas yang sama dalam menginaktivasi Enterobacter aerogenes, dengan tingkat reduksi mencapai 100% CFU/mL pada seluruh durasi perlakuan. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The Biosafety Cabinet (BSC) is one of the tools that create a sterile work environment. In the microbiology laboratory of PT XYZ, there is no Work Instruction for testing the effectiveness of ultraviolet lamp exposure, so testing is carried out to meet sterility standards. This study aims to identify the purity test of Enterobacter aerogenes bacterial culture in the microbiology laboratory of PT XYZ, determine the effectiveness of preliminary ultraviolet lamp exposure in BSC 1, BSC 2, BSC 3, determine the effect of variations in the duration of the effectiveness of ultraviolet lamp exposure in reducing Enterobacter aerogenes bacteria 10^1-10^8 CFU/mL for 15, 20, and 30 minutes. In this study, a comparison was made of the number of colonies that grew between the control sample and the treated sample. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the purity of the Enterobacter aerogenes culture was identified and showed a suitable culture as a test bacterium in the study. Ultraviolet lamps in BSC 1, BSC 2, and BSC 3 still had good effectiveness in reducing the number of target microorganisms. Variations in ultraviolet light exposure time of 15, 20, and 30 minutes showed equal effectiveness in inactivating Enterobacter aerogenes, with reduction rates reaching 100% CFU/mL across all treatment durations. | |
