      Abstract

The implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Program faced a crisis due to the occurrence of gastrointestinal disorders or Kejadian Menonjol, which threatened the program's legitimacy and aroused public doubt and negative opinions. To mitigate these impacts, implementing an effective crisis response strategy is crucial for maintaining the organization's reputation. Based on Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT), this study aims to analyze the correlation between the perceived of crisis response strategy implementation and the reputation of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG). This study uses an exploratory sequential mixed methods approach, involving in-depth interviews with 6 informants and the distribution of a questionnaire to 43 teachers as respondents. The results of the study show that the more positive the respondents' perception of the crisis response strategy implementation by the SPPG, the more positive the reputation of the SPPG becomes.
