| dc.description.abstract | Pemberian pakan pada tikus selama transportasi dapat mengurangi stres dan mempercepat proses rekondisi tikus pasca transportasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis performa produksi tikus putih jantan galur Sprague Dawley yang diberi jenis pakan berbeda selama transportasi pada siang hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas 3 taraf perlakuan dengan 3 ulangan, yaitu P0 (tanpa pakan), P1 (jagung), dan P2 (wortel). Data performa produksi diolah menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA) dan perbedaan antara perlakuan diuji banding berganda Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada proses selama transportasi dapat menurunkan performa pada tikus. Pemberian pakan yang baik dengan kandungan air tinggi, seperti wortel dapat menekan penurunan performa produksi dan fisiologis pada tikus selama transportasi yang dilakukan pada siang hari. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan susut bobot badan terendah dan waktu rekondisi lebih cepat pada perlakuan P2. Dengan demikian, pemberian pakan berkadar air tinggi selama transportasi dapat direkomendasikan sebagai upaya mengurangi dampak negatif stres transportasi pada tikus. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Feed provision during transportation can reduce stress and accelerate the post-transport recovery process in rats. This study aimed to analyze the production performance of male white rats Sprague Dawley strain fed different diets during daytime transportation. This study employed an experimental method using a completely randomized design (RAL) consisting of three treatment levels and three replicates: P0 (no feed), P1 (corn), and P2 (carrot). Performance data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), and differences among treatments were further tested using Duncan’s multiple range test. The results showed that transportation process can reduce the performance of rats. Providing high-moisture feed, such as carrots, can mitigate the decline in production and physiological performance in rats during daytime transportation. This was indicated by the lowest body weight loss and faster recovery time in the P2 treatments. Thus, providing high-moisture feed during transport can be recommended as a measure to reduce the negative effects of transport stress on rats. | |
