      Abstract
LIA HAYATI.

LIA HAYATI. Implementation of AnemiAR Edu Media to Improve Knowledge of Anemia Prevention among Junior High School Girls. Supervised by FARANITA RATIH LISTIASARI. Inadequate knowledge of anemia prevention is one of the contributing factors to the increased risk of anemia among adolescent girls. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of AnemiAR Edu, an Augmented Reality (AR)-based educational media, in improving knowledge of anemia prevention among junior high school girls. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, followed by a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group pre-test and post-test design. A total of 80 female students participated in the study and were assigned to an intervention group (AnemiAR Edu and lecture) and a control group (PowerPoint and lecture). Expert validation indicated that the media achieved a feasibility score of 93.33%, categorized as highly feasible. The mean knowledge score in the intervention group increased from 53.0±14.54 to 82.5±15.65, while the control group increased from 62.5±17.65 to 76.3±18.49. The Wilcoxon Test showed a significant increase in knowledge in both groups (p < 0.001). The Mann-Whitney test showed that the intervention group had a significantly higher ? (delta) score (29.50±20.38) than the control group (13.75±21.45) (p=0.001). The intervention group also demonstrated a higher N-Gain score (0.4194) than the control group (0.1815). Therefore, AnemiAR Edu was more effective than PowerPoint in improving knowledge of anemia prevention among junior high school girls. Keywords: adolescent girls, anemia, AnemiAR Edu, Augmented Reality, knowledge.
