      Pendugaan Bobot Tenderloin Berdasarkan Bobot Potong dan Body Condition Score Sapi Brahman Cross

      Abstract
      Penelitian ini bertujuan menduga bobot tenderloin (Y) sapi BX steer dan heifer berdasarkan bobot potong (X1) dan BCS (X2) melalui analisis regresi komponen utama dan menentukan nilai elastisitas setiap variabel yang diukur terhadap bobot tenderloin. Data berasal dari Sapi Brahman Cross (BX) steer sebanyak 76 ekor dengan rataan bobot potong 488,105 ± 37,658 kg dan heifer 23 ekor dengan rataan bobot potong 461,522±49,008kg. Variabel yang diukur bobot potong (X1) dan BCS (X2) dan bobot tenderloin (Y). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa komponen utama pertama mampu merepresentasikan kombinasi bobot potong (X1) dan BCS (X2), sehingga dapat membentuk model analisis regresi koponen utama masing-masing pada steer yaitu Y = 0,408 + 0,004X1 + 0,454X2 (R² = 71,96%) dan pada heifer yaitu Y = 0,481+0,004X1+0,516X2 (R² = 88,76%). Analisis elastisitas menunjukkan bahwa bobot potong merupakan variabel paling sensitif terhadap bobot tenderloin, baik pada sapi BX steer maupun heifer
