Pengaruh Bootcamp MySkill terhadap Employability Skills dengan Self-esteem sebagai Mediasi (Studi Kasus di Jawa Barat)

Abstract

Tingkat pengangguran yang terus meningkat, pergeseran pekerjaan akibat teknologi, dan kesenjangan keterampilan dengan industri menuntut fresh graduate untuk meningkatkan keterampilan melalui pembelajaran non-formal. MySkill merupakan platform penyedia bootcamp online untuk pengembangan keterampilan dengan harga relatif murah. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh bootcamp MySkill kepada employability skills dengan self-esteem sebagai mediasi. Penelitian dilakukan kepada 270 fresh graduate di Jawa Barat melalui kuesioner secara daring. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bootcamp MySkill berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap employability skills fresh graduate dan self-esteem sebagai mediasi memberikan pengaruh tidak langsung ke hubungan tersebut. Semakin tinggi self-esteem yang terbentuk setelah mengikuti bootcamp, semakin tinggi pula kemampuan employabillity skills yang dimiliki.

Rising unemployment rates, job displacement caused by technological advancements, and skill gaps between graduates and industry demands require fresh graduates to enhance their competencies through non-formal learning. MySkill is an online bootcamp platform that provides skill development programs at relatively affordable prices. This study analyzes the effect of the MySkill bootcamp on employability skills with self-esteem as a mediating variable. The study was conducted on 270 fresh graduates in West Java through an online questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results show that the MySkill bootcamp has a significant positive effect on the employability skills of fresh graduates, and self-esteem as a mediating variable provides an indirect effect on this relationship. The higher the self-esteem developed after participating in the bootcamp, the higher the employability skills developed by the graduates.
