      PREFERENSI PEMILIHAN PASANGAN PEREMPUAN: PENGARUH SOSIAL EKONOMI KELUARGA, MEDIA SOSIAL, DAN GAYA HIDUP KONSUMTIF

      Abstract
      Sejalan dengan prinsip assortative mating, proses pemilihan pasangan pada era ini tidak hanya sekedar pemenuhan tahapan perkembangan, melainkan juga melibatkan pencarian kesamaan latar belakang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kondisi sosial ekonomi keluarga, media sosial, dan gaya hidup konsumtif terhadap preferensi pemilihan pasangan. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 299 individu perempuan generasi z di seluruh Indonesia dengan teknik voluntary sampling. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan korelasi Spearman dan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa Hasil analisis korelasi Spearman menunjukkan bahwa variabel kondisi sosial ekonomi keluarga dan media sosial memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan terhadap seluruh dimensi preferensi pasangan, sedangkan gaya hidup konsumtif hanya berhubungan dengan dimensi ekonomi dan pendidikan. Sementara itu, hasil uji SEM menyatakan bahwa media sosial terbukti memiliki pengaruh terbesar dalam menentukan preferensi pemilihan pasangan dibandingkan dengan kondisi sosial ekonomi keluarga dan gaya hidup konsumtif. Sedangkan jika ditinjau dari dimensi variabel preferensi pemilihan pasangan, yang terdiri dari sifat, ekonomi, dan latar belakang pendidikan, sifat pasangan merupakan kriteria yang diprioritaskan oleh individu. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa faktor sifat diri dan pengaruh lingkungan digital merupakan determinan penting yang membentuk kriteria individu dalam menentukan pasangan di era modern.
       
      In line with the principle of assortative mating, the process of choosing a partner in this era is not only about fulfilling developmental stages but also involves seeking similarities in background. This study aims to analyze the influence of family socioeconomic conditions, social media, and a consumtive lifestyle on mate preferences. This is a quantitative study involving 299 female Generation Z individuts throughout Indonesia using a voluntary sampling technique. Data were analyzed using Spearman correlation Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of the Spearman correlation analysis indicate that family socioeconomic conditions and social media variables have a significant positive relationship with all dimensions of mate preferences, whereas a consumptive lifestyle is only related to the economic and educational dimensions. Meanwhile, the SEM analysis results indicate that social media has the greatest influence in determining mate preferences compared to family socioeconomic conditions and a consumtive lifestyle. Meanwhile, when viewed from the dimensions of mate preference variables, consisting of character, economics, and educational background, partner character dimension is the most prioritized criterion by individuts.. These findings demonstrate that personal traits and the influence of the digital environment are important determinants that shape individual criteria in choosing a partner in the modern era.
