Non-permanent employment conditions pose financial management challenges, particularly for Generation Z. This study investigated the influence of financial literacy, consumptive behavior, and financial stress on financial well-being, both directly and indirectly. A quantitative cross-sectional design was employed. Data were collected from 190 respondents and analyzed using Spearman correlation and (SEM-PLS) with Smart Partial Least Squaress. The results indicate that financial literacy significantly affects consumptive behavior, financial stress, and financial well-being. Financial stress also significantly affects consumptive behavior and financial well-being, while consumptive behavior has no direct effect on financial well-being. Mediation analysis shows that financial stress mediates the effects of financial literacy and consumptive behavior on financial well-being and plays a role in a serial mediation mechanism with consumptive behavior. These findings highlight that the financial well-being of Generation Z non-permanent workers is shaped by the interaction of cognitive, behavioral, and psychological factors.
