dc.description.abstractDaging ayam merupakan salah satu sumber protein hewani yang banyak dikonsumsi masyarakat Indonesia karena harganya relatif terjangkau dan bermanfaat bagi tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya yang memengaruhi konsumsi daging ayam serta membandingkan tingkat konsumsi rumah tangga pada desa swakarya dan swasembada di Kecamatan Kledung. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode survei terhadap 100 responden di Desa Kruwisan dan Desa Tuksari. Analisis data meliputi analisis deskriptif, uji Mann-Whitney, dan regresi linear berganda yang dilakukan secara terpisah pada kedua desa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsumsi daging ayam rumah tangga di desa swasembada lebih tinggi dan berbeda signifikan dibandingkan desa swakarya. Variabel pendapatan dan jumlah anggota keluarga berpengaruh terhadap konsumsi daging ayam pada kedua desa, sedangkan variabel lainnya tidak berpengaruh nyata. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa faktor sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya memengaruhi pola konsumsi daging ayam rumah tangga sesuai tingkat perkembangan desa.
dc.description.abstractChicken meat is one of the most widely consumed sources of animal protein in Indonesia because it is relatively affordable and beneficial to health. This study aims to analyze the social, economic, and cultural factors that influence chicken meat consumption and to compare household consumption levels in self-reliant and self-sufficient villages in Kledung Subdistrict. The study was conducted using a survey method involving 100 respondents in Kruwisan Village and Tuksari Village. Data analysis included descriptive analysis, the Mann-Whitney test, and multiple linear regression, each performed separately for the two villages. The results showed that household chicken meat consumption in self-sufficient villages was higher and significantly different compared to self-reliant villages. The variables of income and family size influenced chicken meat consumption in both villages, while other variables had no significant effect. This study concludes that social, economic, and cultural factors influence household chicken meat consumption patterns according to the level of village development.
