Pengaruh Self-Esteem dan Iklim Sekolah terhadap Status Identitas Diri pada Remaja SMA Berasrama

Abstract

Remaja yang tinggal di sekolah asrama akan merasakan pengalaman unik yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan status identitas diri yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal, seperti self-esteem dan faktor eksternal, seperti iklim sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh self-esteem dan iklim sekolah terhadap status identitas diri pada remaja berasrama. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan desain eksplanatori dan metode survei. Responden penelitan ini melibatkan 116 siswa SMAIT Insantama Bogor. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang mencakup variabel karakteristik remaja, karakteristik keluarga, self-esteem, kualitas iklim sekolah, dan status identitas diri remaja. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman dan uji regresi logistik menggunakan SPSS 25.0. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara jenis kelamin dengan iklim sekolah pada aspek lingkungan sekolah, pendapatan keluarga dengan iklim sekolah pada aspek lingkungan sekolah dan lingkungan asrama, iklim sekolah pada aspek lingkungan asrama dengan status identitas diri, dan self-esteem dengan status identitas diri diffusion dan moratorium. Uji regresi logistik menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dari iklim sekolah terhadap status identitas diri achievement. Sementara, usia ayah berpengaruh negatif terhadap status identitas diri achievement.

Teenagers who live in boarding schools will have unique experiences that can influence the development of their identity status, which is affected by internal factors such as self-esteem and external factors such as the school climate. This study aims to analyze the influence of self-esteem and school climate on the identity status of boarding school teenagers. This quantitative study uses an explanatory design and survey method. The respondents in this study were 116 students from SMAIT Insantama Bogor. Data were collected through questionnaires covering variables such as adolescent characteristics, family characteristics, self-esteem, school climate quality, and adolescent identity status. Data analysis in this study used Spearman's correlation test and logistic regression using SPSS 25.0. The correlation test results showed a relationship between gender and school climate in terms of the school environment, family income and school climate in terms of the school environment and boarding school environment, school climate in terms of the boarding school environment and self-identity status, and self-esteem and diffusion and moratorium self-identity status. The logistic regression test showed a positive influence of school climate on achievement self-identity status. Meanwhile, the age of the father had a negative influence on achievement self-identity status.
