      Abstract

This project focuses on designing a Factory Sharing business process for SMEs in the food sector that require commercial sterile packaging. The main goal of this project is to design a business model and analyze the financial feasibility of the Factory Sharing TIN business. The Business Model Canvas (BMC) is used to describe the business model and visualize the rationale behind how the organization creates, captures, and delivers value. For the financial feasibility analysis, the determination of the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and the selling price of outsourcing services, as well as service fees, are conducted. Additionally, analyses using Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit-Cost Ratio (B/C Ratio), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP), sensitivity analysis, and switching value analysis are performed to identify whether the Factory Sharing TIN business is financially feasible or not. The results of this project indicate that the business model design has been accepted and can be implemented by the TIN Department of IPB University. Furthermore, the financial feasibility analysis meets the criteria for feasibility, making the business viable to be executed.
