dc.description.abstractPT Kelola Mina Laut (KML) merupakan perusahaan pengolah daging rajungan pasteurisasi dalam kaleng yang dalam proses produksinya melibatkan berbagai pihak mulai dari nelayan, pengepul, miniplant, plant, ekspedisi, retail, hingga akhirnya produk sampai ke konsumen akhir. Untuk meningkatkan efisiensi proses produksi, PT KML perlu meminimalkan pemborosan dalam proses produksinya, yang merupakan implementasi dari lean manufacturing. Analisis dilakukan dengan metode value stream mapping (VSM), menghasilkan peta kondisi saat ini dengan total waktu proses produksi di miniplant sekitar 11,09 jam dan 13,95 jam di plant. Analisis lebih lanjut menggunakan process activity mapping mengidentifikasi aktivitas pemborosan yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan fishbone diagram untuk menemukan akar masalah. Solusi perbaikan dirancang berdasarkan prinsip lean 5S, yang kemudian menghasilkan future state map dengan total waktu produksi di miniplant sekitar 9,45 jam dan 12,21 jam di plant. Perbaikan tersebut meningkatkan process cycle efficiency di miniplant sebesar 6,09% dan di plant sebesar 4,96%. Dengan meminimalkan lead time, PT KML dapat memastikan produk rajungan sampai ke konsumen dengan cepat dan dalam kondisi terbaik, sehingga mempertahankan daya saing di pasar internasional.
dc.description.abstractKelola Mina Laut (KML) Co. is a company that processes pasteurized crab meat in cans whose production process involves various parties ranging from fishermen, collectors, miniplants, plants, expeditions, retailers, until finally the product reaches the final consumer. To increase the efficiency of the production process, KML Co. needs to minimize waste in its production process, which is an implementation of lean manufacturing. The analysis was carried out using the value stream mapping (VSM) method, producing a map of current conditions with a total production process time at the miniplant of around 11,09 hours and 13,95 hours at the plant. Further analysis using process activity mapping identifies waste activities which are then analyzed using a fishbone diagram to find the root of the problem. The improvement solution was designed based on lean 5S principles, which then produced a future state map with a total production time at the miniplant of around 9,45 hours and 12,21 hours at the plant. These improvements increased process cycle efficiency in the miniplant by 6,09% and in the plant by 4,96%. By minimizing lead time, KML Co. can ensure that crab products reach consumers quickly and in the best condition, thereby maintaining competitiveness in the international market.
