dc.description.abstractIPB D1 chickens resulted from the selection of crossbreeds from three local chicken breeds of pelung, sentul, kampung, and meat-type breeds. IPB D1 chickens were selected into IPB-D2 and IPB-D3 chickens. IPB-D2 chickens were selected based on the selection of good body resistance against diseases. IPB-D3 chickens were selected based on the selection of fast body weight growth. The research on productivity and egg quality of crossed IPB-D2 chickens with IPB-D3 chickens and their reciprocals. The research used t-test analysis to compare parameters between the two crosses. The material used was 36 tails consisting of 15 females and 3 males in the two crosses. Egg production of both crosses was categorized as good. Quality of the eggs was rated II (good). Reproduction was categorized as good. dc.description.abstractAyam IPB D1 merupakan hasil seleksi persilangan dari tiga jenis ayam lokal yaitu ayam pelung, sentul, kampung, dan tipe daging. Ayam IPB D1 diseleksi menjadi ayam IPB-D2 dan IPB-D3. Ayam IPB-D2 dipilih berdasarkan seleksi ketahanan tubuh yang baik terhadap penyakit. Ayam IPB-D3 dipilih berdasarkan seleksi pertumbuhan bobot badan yang cepat. Penelitian mengenai produktivitas dan kualitas telur pada silangan ayam IPB-D2 dengan ayam IPB-D3 serta resiprokalnya. Penelitian menggunakan analisis uji-t untuk membandingkan parameter antara kedua silangan. Bahan yang digunakan yaitu 36 ayam indukan yang terdiri dari 15 betina dan 3 jantan pada kedua persilangan. Produksi telur kedua persilangan termasuk dalam kategori baik. Kualitas telur termasuk dalam nilai mutu II (baik). Reproduksi ayam termasuk dalam kategori baik.
