dc.description.abstractPeningkatan umur ayam dapat menyebabkan warna kerabang telur semakin pudar, kerabang telur semakin tipis dan bobot telur semakin berat sehingga menurunkan kualitas telur yang dihasilkan. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis perbedaan kualitas eksternal telur tetas ayam KUB dari induk parent stock (PS) yang berumur 40 dan 60 minggu yang berasal dari pembibitan ayam Taman Teknologi Pertanian (TTP), Cigombong, Bogor, Jawa Barat. Kualitas eksternal telur yang diamati meliputi bobot, bentuk telur, indeks bentuk telur, bobot kerabang, kebersihan kerabang, warna kerabang dan tebal kerabang telur. Jumlah telur yang diamati sebanyak 30 butir setiap kelompok umur. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif yaitu pada kebersihan kerabang, bentuk telur, warna kerabang, dan kehalusan kerabang. Uji T (T-Test) independen digunakan untuk menganalisis data bobot telur, indeks bentuk telur, bobot kerabang dan ketebalan kerabang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perbedaan yang nyata (P<0,05) pada bobot telur, indeks bentuk telur, bobot kerabang dan ketebalan kerabang. Penelitian ini menduga faktor lingkungan kandang, dan juga kesehatan ayam juga menentukan kualitas eksternal eksternal telur.id
dc.description.abstractThe increasing of hen age may reduce the hatching egg color and shell thickness, and also increase the hatching egg weight. The aim of the study was to analyze the differences in the external quality of hatching eggs from 40 (P1) and 60 weeks of age (P2) of KUB chicken parent stock produced by chicken breeding farm TTP Cigombong, Bogor, West Java. The external hatching egg quality observed were included off the weight, egg shape, egg shape index, shell weight, shell cleanliness, shell color and egg shell thickness. There were 30 hatching eggs which were observed in this study for each age of group. The shell cleanliness, egg shape, shell color and shell smoothness were analyzed descriptively. The egg weight, egg shape index, shell weight and shell thickness was analyzed by T test (T-Test) independent. There were significantly differences (P< 0.05) in the egg weight, shell weight, and hatching egg shell thickness between hatching eggs produced by hens aged 40 (P1) and 60 weeks (P2). This study predicts that the environmental factor, and also chicken health might influence the external quality of chicken hatching egg.id
