dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research was to found obesity performances of long-tailed macaques (Macaca fascicularis) which fed with high energy diet. Two groups of five adult males (average body weight 4-6 kg) were treated by three types of high energy diets (A treatment, B treatment and C treatment). Body measurements which observed were crown-rump length; the circumferences of calf (of leg), thigh, hip, waist, chest, arm, and head; thicks of meta-tarsale and meta-carpale; skin fold thickness of arm, back, and stomach; body weight and body mass index (BMI). Data were analyzed by ANOVA, with nested design. The result showed that obesity performances of long-tailed macaques which fed with high energy diet were significantly (P<0.01) for circumferences of hip, waist and chest; skin fold thickness of back and stomach; body weight and body mass index. Body mass index of long-tailed macaques on treatment high energy diet with raw material tallow and yolks indicated became pre- obese with base on Asia people BMI standard with BMI’s average 24.85.id
