      Pola Aktivitas Tokek Rumah (Gekko gecko) Yang Dipelihara Secara Intensif

      Abstract
      Tokek rumah (Gekko gecko) banyak dicari dan memiliki nilai jual yang tinggi karena dijadikan sebagai sumber makanan dan juga sebagai obat untuk menyembuhkan gatal-gatal pada tubuh, eksim, gangguan seksual, dan kanker. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola aktivitas tokek rumah (Gekko gecko) yang dibudidayakan secara intensif. Tokek yang digunakan sebanyak 4 pasang dengan mengamati tingkah laku (makan, minum, kawin, bersembunyi, sosial, istirahat, bersuara dan lokomosi) serta pencatatan suhu dan kelembapan kandang. Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tokek lebih banyak melakukan aktivitas beristirahat yaitu sebesar 70,6%, bersembunyi 23,9%, bergerak atau lokomosi 5,09%, interaksi sosial 0,14%, makan dan minum 0,11%, bersuara 0,02% dan kawin 0,01%.
       
      The house gecko (Gekko gecko) is heavily sought after and has a high selling value because it is used as a food source and also as a medicine to cure itching on the body, eczema, sexual disorders, and cancer. This study aims to determine the pattern of activity of house geckos (Gekko gecko) which were cultivated intensively. 4 pairs of geckos were used by observing behavior (eating, drinking, mating, hiding, social, resting, vocalizing and locomotion) and recording the temperature and humidity of the cage. The research results were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that geckos often did resting activities, namely 70,6%, hiding 23,9%, moving or locomotion 5,09%, social interaction 0,14%, eating and drinking 0,11%, making sounds 0,02% and mating 0,01%.
