      Abstract

The volume of koi fish imports to Indonesia is higher than the volume of exports, resulting in fluctuating fish prices, so it is necessary to know the koi fish supply chains that provide the highest efficiency with the lowest risk. This study aims to analyze the processes, networks, actors, efficiency, and risk opportunities in the Japanese koi fish supply chain at PT Solaris Koi Indonesia. Data collection was carried out by direct observation and interviews with the case study method. Data analysis uses marketing margin, farmer's share, and failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) method. The koi fish production process at PT Solaris Koi Indonesia is in accordance with SNI 7734:2011 and fish quarantine according to the CKIB form. The supply chain consists of 20 grade A channels, 7 grade B channels, and 4 grade C channels run by the farmer, dealers, kropyokan dealers, and end consumers. Information flow is bidirectional, while price and product flow are one-way from upstream to downstream. Channels A Shusui 2, A Asagi 2, and A Showa 1 are the most efficient channels with the shortest stages. Risk variables related to price have the highest impact based on FMEA analysis.
