      Kajian Pirolisis Ban Bekas di Desa Ekowisata Pabuaran

      Abstract
      Seiring berkembangnya pertambahan penduduk, jumlah penggunaan kendaraan juga semakin meningkat. Adanya peningkatkan ini mengakibatkan kenaikan jumlah ban bekas yang dihasilkan dari kendaraan. Merespon perkembangan tersebut, dipandang perlu untuk menyusun konsep pengelolaan ban bekas berbasis pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan metode pirolisis yang akan diterapkan di Desa Pabuaran. Oleh karena itu, proyek desain ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji mengenai salah satu alternatif solusi pengelolaan ban bekas dengan metode pirolisis dan kelayakan finansialnya. Metode yang dilakukan adalah studi literatur dan wawancara untuk memperoleh data dari beberapa steakholder. Secara finansial, pirolisis ban bekas ini dianalisis dengan metode R/C dan Payback Period. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, ditetapkan bahwa metode pirolisis adalah salah satu alternatif solusi pengolahan ban bekas yang dapat diterapkan di Desa Pabuaran. Pirolisis merupakan proses degradasi termal dengan kondisi tanpa oksigen yang dapat menghasilkan produk yang bernilai tambah seperti minyak pirolisis, carbon black, dan kawat. Pengelolan ban bekas dengan metode pirolisis dapat menghasilkan minyak dengan persentase 50%, carbon black 30%, kawat 10%, dan syngas 5%. Jumlah ban bekas yang dapat ditangani setiap tahunnya adalah sebanyak 2.400 ban bekas. Dari hasil perhitungan finansial, pirolisis ban bekas ini memiliki nilai R/C 1,02 dan Payback Period 2,3 tahun, maka dapat simpulkan bahwa pirolisis ban bekas ini layak diterapkan sebagai salah satu alternatif solusi pengelolaan ban bekas di Desa Pabuaran.
       
      As the population grows, the number of vehicles use also increases. This increase resulted in an increase in the number of used tires produced from vehicles. Responding the development, it is necessary to develop a concept of community empowerment-based used tire management using the pyrolysis method which will be applied in Pabuaran Village. Therefore, this design project aims to study an alternative solution for managing used tires using the pyrolysis method and their financial feasibility. The method used is literature study and interviews to obtain data from several stakeholders. Financially, the pyrolysis of used tires was analyzed using the R/C and Payback Period methods. Based on the results of the interview, it was determined that the pyrolysis method is an alternative solution for processing used tires that can be applied in Pabuaran Village. Pyrolysis is a thermal degradation process in the absence of oxygen which can produce value-added products such as pyrolysis oil, carbon black, and wire. The management of used tires with the pyrolysis method can produce oil with a percentage of 50%, carbon black 30%, wire 10%, and syngas 5%. The number of used tires that can be handled annually is 2,400 used tires. From the results of financial calculations, the pyrolysis of used tires has an R/C value of 1,02 and a Payback Period of 2,3 years, it can be concluded that the pyrolysis of used tires is feasible to be applied as an alternative solution for managing used tires in Pabuaran Village.
