dc.description.abstractKolostrum adalah cairan limfa yang banyak mengandung imunoglobulin. Anak sapi yang baru dilahirkan sangat membutuhkan kolostrum. Daun katuk dipercaya dapat meningkatkan produksi susu. Penambahan katuk depolarisasi pada ransum sapi FH diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produksi kolostrum dan susu kolostrum dengan kualitas yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan tambahan berupa katuk depolarisasi terhadap produksi dan kualitas kolostrum serta susu kolostrum pada sapi perah FH periode laktasi ketiga. Hewan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sapi FH yang baru melahirkan sebanyak 3 ekor, yang akan dibagi pada 3 perlakuan dengan masing-masing perlakuan sebanyak satu ekor, yaitu kontrol (menggunakan pakan dari PT GGL), BKD (pakan GGL yang ditambahkan bubuk katuk depolarisasi), PKD (pakan GGL yang ditambahkan pellet katuk depolarisasi). Katuk depolarisasi diberikan sebanyak 100 g/ekor/hari. Hasil pengamatan disajikan deskriptif. Peubah yang diamati adalah konsumsi pakan sebelum dan setelah beranak, produksi dan kualitas kolostrum serta susu kolostrum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian katuk depolarisasi tidak dapat meningkatkan konsumsi pakan, produksi kolostrum maupun susu kolostrum, dan kualitas susu kolostrum sapi Friesian Holstein laktasi ketiga. Peningkatan kualitas terlihat pada kolostrum sapi FH yang diberikan katuk depolarisasi berbentuk bubuk dan pellet.id
dc.description.abstractColostrum is a lymph fluid that contains a lot of immunoglobulins. Newborn calves need colostrum. Katuk leaves are believed to increase milk production. The addition of depolarizing valves to the ration of FH cows is expected to increase the production of colostrum and colostrum milk with good quality. This study aims to determine the effect of supplementary feeding in t he form of depolarizing catuks on the production and quality of colostrum and colostrum milk in FH dairy cows during the third lactation period. The animals used in this study were FH cows that had just given birth as many as 3 heads, 2 which would be divided into 3 treatments with one treatment each, namely control (using feed from PT GGL), BKD (GGL feed added with depolarizing katuk powder), PKD (GGL feed added with depolarizing valve pellets). The depolarizing valve was given as much as 100 g/head/day. The results of the observations are presented descriptively. The observed variables were feed consumption before and after giving birth, production and quality of colostrum and colostrum milk. The results showed that giving a depolarizing catuk could not increase feed consumption, production of colostrum and colostrum milk, and the quality of colostrum milk of third lactation Friesian Holstein cows. The quality improvement was seen in FH cow colostrum which was given depolarizing catuk in powder and pellet form.id
