dc.description.abstractSapi belgian blue adalah sapi yang termasuk dalam bangsa Bos taurus yang memiliki otot ganda karena akibat dari hasil mutasi gen. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis nilai korelasi dan regresi antara ukuran tubuh terhadap bobot badan sapi belgian blue betina pasca sapih. Jumlah sapi belgian blue yang digunakan sebanyak 18 ekor umur 6 bulan. Produktivitas dapat diukur dari perfoma kuantitatif yaitu bobot badan dan ukuran tubuh. Data bobot badan (Y), panjang badan (X_1), tinggi pundak (X_2) dan lingkar dada (X_3) dianalisis nilai korelasi dan regresinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rataan dari bobot badan, panjang badan, tinggi pundak, dan lingkar dada adalah 348,32±33 kg, 197,47±7,64 cm, 185,37±3,82 cm, dan 251,37±8,32 cm. Korelasi sangat kuat antara lingkar dada terhadap bobot badan (0,965). Hasil penelitian, ketiga ukuran tubuh berprngaruh nyata terhadap bobot badan dengan model regresi Y = -365,0 + 0,713 X_1 + 2,989 X_3 + 0,992 X_2 dengan koefisien determinasi (R^2= 0,959). Hal ini berarti 95,9% variabel panjang badan, tinggi pundak dan lingkar dada dapat digunakan untuk bobot badan sedangkan 4,1% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diketahui. Simpulan bahwa lingkar dada dapat digunakan untuk menduga bobot badan sapi belgian blue betina pasca sapih.id
dc.description.abstractBelgian blue cattle are belonging to the Bos taurus breed which have double muscles as a result of gene mutations. The purpose of this study was to analyzed the correlation and regression values between body size and body weight of female belgian blue cattle after weaning. The number of belgian blue cattle used was 18 heads aged 6 months. Productivity can be measured from quantitative performance. Quantitative performance can be seen from weighing body weight and body measurements. Data on body weight (Y), body length (X_1), shoulder height (X_2) and chest circumference (X_3) were analyzed for correlation and regression values. The coefficient of determination was used as a measure to find the best regression model. The results showed that the average values of body weight, body length, shoulder height, and chest circumference were 348.32±33 kg, 197.47±7.64 cm, 185.37±3.82 cm, and 251.37±8.32 cm. Really strong correlation between chest circumference and body weight (0,965). The results showed that the three measurements of body size had a significant effect on body weight with the regression model Y = -365.0 + 0.713 X_1 + 2.989 X_3 + 0.992 X_2 and coefficient of determination (R^2 = 0.959). This means that 95.9% of the variables of body length, shoulder height and chest circumference can predict body weight while 4.1% was influenced by other unknown factors.id
