dc.description.abstractGen Nudix Hydrolase 8 (NUDT8) memiliki peran penting dalam pertumbuhan kanker, khususnya CoA terhidrolisis, enzim mitokondria dan banyak terekspresi dalam berbagai organ mitokondria seperti jantung, ginjal, hati, dan juga jaringan adiposa coklat (BTA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi gen NUDT8 dan hubungannya dengan sifat asam lemak. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah 63 ekor ayam ras pedaging (KBKB). Identifikasi gen NUDT8 dianalisis menggunakan Polymerase Chain Reaction - Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism (PCR-RFLP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gen NUDT8 bersifat polimorfik yang ditunjukkan dengan adanya tiga genotipe pada gen NUDT8 (CC, CT, dan TT). Keragaman genotipik dari alel NUDT8 berada di Hardy Weinberg Equilibrium. Analisis SNP g.372602 C> T, gen NUDT8 diasosiasikan secara signifikan (P> 0,05) dengan Asam Lemak Jenuh (SFA), khususnya Asam Palmitat (C16: 0). Gen NUDT8 bersifat polimorfik dan dapat digunakan sebagai kandidat penanda komposisi asam lemak pada ayam ras broiler (KBKB).id
dc.description.abstractNudix Hydrolase 8 (NUDT8) gene had an important role in cancer growth, specifically hydrolyzed CoA, a mitochondrial enzyme and widely expressed in mitochondrial diverse organs as a heart, kidney, liver, and also brown adipose tissue (BTA). This research aimed to identify the NUDT8 gene and its association with fatty acid traits. The total sample used was 63 broiler cross-breed chickens (KBKB). Identification of NUDT8 gene were analyzed by using Polymerase Chain Reaction - Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism (PCR-RFLP). The results showed that NUDT8 gene were polymorphic, which was indicated by presence of three genotypes in the NUDT8 (CC, CT, and TT) gene. The genotyipic diversity of the NUDT8 allels was in Hardy Weinberg Equilibrium. The analyses on SNP g.372602 C>T, NUDT8 gene was assosiated significantly (P>0.05) with Saturatted Fatty Acid (SFA), specially of Palmitat Acid (C16:0). NUDT8 gene is polymorphic and can be utilized as a candidate marker for fatty acids composition in broiler crossbreed chickens (KBKB).id
