There are many researches about nanocellulose isolation and its characterization. However, a quantitative conclusion according to the past findings about the difference between the effect of the isolation method on the properties of nanocellulose hasn’t been studied yet. In this final project, meta-analysis was carried out from 28 scientific journals and gathered 404 treatments which grouped into each parameter. Fiber diameter, fiber length, crystallinity index, temperature on set, and temperature at maximum degradation were the parameter analyzed by applying independent t-test method, while tensile strength, tensile modulus, and elongation at break were the parameter analyzed by applying standard mean difference method. Fiber length, fiber diameter, temperature at maximum degradation, tensile strength, tensile modulus, and elongation at break were significantly affected by the isolation method p < 0.05. Crystallinity index, and onset temperature were not significantly affected by the isolation method P > 0.05. This result showed that there were parameters which more significantly affected to the isolation method which should be more taken in account for the future development of nanocellulose.id
