A RESTIATI. Models of Leave-Tea Plucking Schedule (The Case Study on Perkebunan Gunung Mas PTPN VIII West Java). Under the direction of MARIMIN, MACHFUD, and MUHAMMAD ZEIN NASUTION. The purpose of this research is to formulate scheduling model of leave-tea plucking, at which Gunung Mas Plantation, West Java is used as the case study. Linear programming and fuzzy linear programming were used as the basis for the model formulation. The objective function of linear programming formulation is to maximize leaves production with two constraints. The first constraint is the extent of plucking area and the second one is numbers of pluckers. The solutions of this scheduling model are maximum values of leaves production which are achieved by using LINDO. In this case, fuzzy linear programming gives better results than non-fuzzy linear programming because it is relevant with the condition of the plantation. Productivities of tea are higher in rainy seasons than dry season. The productions of tea leaves increase in the second and third pruning year (TP 2 and TP 3) and decrease in the fourth year (TP 4). There were two scenarios involved in this research. Scenario 1 is aimed to maximize leaves production in order to meet plant capacity. Scenario 2 has an objective to maximize the extent of plucking area to increase leaves production that could also reach plant capacity. The result of Scenario 1 shows that daily maximum productivity which must be reached by Gunung Mas is 912,72 kg/ha to 2.500 kg/ha (in dry season) and 363,27 kg/ha to 4.266,67 kg/ha (in rainy season) in order to meet plant capacity. While the result of Scenario 2 shows that maximum width of area which must be plucked by the plantation per day is 119,31 ha to 288,34 ha (in dry season) and 64,96 ha to 222,41 ha (in rainy season) in order to meet plant capacity.id
