The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of subtitution of soybean meal by cricket meal on nutrient consumption, hematology and blood metabolites of growing lamb. This study used complete randomized block design, with 3 treatments and 4 replications. Twelve growing lamb in 2-4 month of age and average of body weight 10.36±1.62 kg, were divided into R1: concentrate containing soybean meal, R2: concentrate containing soybean meal and cricket meal, R3: concentrate containing cricket meal and all animals fed 40% of Brachiaria humidicola and 60% concentrate. Data were analyzed using ANOVA with parameters: nutrient consumption, hematology (hemoglobin, hematocrit, eritrosito, leukosit and differensial leukosit) and blood glucose and protein. The relationship between the consumption of carbohydrates with blood glucose levels following the equation Y = 0.0054X2 – 2.38X + 318.5 and the relationship between the protein consumption with blood protein of following equation Y = 0.016X2 – 1.802X + 56.032. The results showed that the treatments did not significant affect on nutrient consumption, hemoglobin, erythrocyte, leukocytes, leukocyte differentiation and glucose. It was concluded that soybean meal can be substituted by crickets meal for growing lamb without any problem with palatability and health status.id
