This research aimed to observed the effect of hygroscopic substances’s addition such as Zeolite, Dolomite and Bentoniteintoseaweed waste which was a waste from the production of agar-agar PT Agar Swallow that were assessed contaminate the surrounding environment and expected to be materialfeed which is always available. This research was carried out for 3 months to see the physical properties, chemical propertiesandlength storage of seaweed waste with the addition of 5% hygroscopic substances. The experimental design was CRD (4x3) with factor A were P0: seaweed waste without the provision of hygroscopic substances, P1: seaweed waste with 5% Zeolite, P2: seaweed waste with 5% Dolomite and P3: seaweed waste with 5% Bentonite, factor B was storage times (0, 1, 2 weeks) with three repetitions. The results showed that the addition of 5% zeolite significantly affect (p<0.05) on decreasing of moisture contentcomparedto the control. The addition of hygroscopic could increase the quality of seaweed waste however did not significantly affect on decreasing the water content during storage.
