dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to test of addition mannan oligosakarida (MOS) and vitamin C as feed additive on growth performance of Catfish (Clarias sp.). The feed used in this study is comercial feed with 39.4% protein dry weight content with the addition of feed additive is 3.6 g/kg. A total of 15,000 catfish (0.268 ± 0.26 gram) was reared for 20 days in tank (3 x 6x 0.5 m3) which has been equiped with aeration system. Fish feeding was conducted three times at 06.00, 16.00 and 24.00 (at satiation). The experimental design was a completely randomized design with 2 treatments and duplicate. The result showed that the amount of feed intake, protein retension and daily growth rate not significantly different (P>0,05). However, the biomass, feed conversion ratio (FCR) and survival rate in catfish with addition of feed additive in feed have significantly different (P<0,05). This result showed that the addition of MOS and vitamin C in catfish feed can decrease FCR and increase final biomass and survival rate (SR). | id |
