dc.description.abstractIndonesia is a tropical country which has great potential to produce various kinds of tropical fruit that can be processed into refined products, one of them is Tropical Fruit Salad (TFS). The purpose of this research is determining the work elements and production process flow in canning TFS, standard time, the ideal working capacity of each work element, then designing the labor requirement and its distribution on each work element based on the company's production targets. The results obtained from this study are in the TFS canning production process there are 5 major groups of working line in which include 38 work elements. Total standard time which is equivalent to produce canned A10 TFS is 581.46 seconds. Work element which contributes the greatest time in the TFS canning production process is Guava Peeling (145.57 sec/cans) while the lowest one is Preparation (0.09 sec/can). The ideal number of workers for producting canned TFS with 7500 cans/day production target is as much as 358 people/day. Regarding to company's current labor ammount which is 387 people, the company can possibly increase its production target of 8100 cans/day, equivalent to an increase of 8%.id
