dc.description.abstractSangkuriang catfish (Clarias sp) which lives in freshwater habitats, has a good economic value. One of the companies that work’s on the cultivation of sangkuriang catfish is CV Dejee Fish, located at Cibaraja’s Fish Market, Cisaat, Sukabumi. Unfortunately, this business is highly related to several risks such as production risk where CV Dejee Fish production fluctuates in a high manner. The object of this study is to identify the sources of production risk, the chances, the impact, and some alternative strategy to handle the risk. The sources of production risk are identified as fungi, water quality, fish feed, and harvesting technic. Furthermore, in order to understand how big the chances and impact of the risk are, Z-score and VaR analysis tool is used. Results from the research shows that on the per period per hetchery, the risk probability from fungi is 40 percent, water quality 44 percent, feeds 5 percent, and harvesting technic 4 percent. The impact of the risk from fungi cost is Rp 5 795, water quality Rp 4 937, feeds Rp 3 388 and harvesting technic Rp 3 736.id
