| dc.description.abstract | One of the many farms which has the potential national meat contribution is broiler chickens farm. Serang Regency is one of the broiler production centers in Banten, and it encourages the emergence of partner companies. PT.Berkah Mitra Sejahtera is a company which forms a partnership with three broiler poultrymen in Serang District. There are few independent broiler chicken farms there. The aim of the study was to identify the sources of the farm production risks of the independent or contract farming, to analyze the likelihood of the risks and impacts of farm production risk sources,to compared risks production broiler chicken farm of independent or contract farming, to analyze and to analyze alternative strategies to handle the farm producton risk sources. There were four farm production risk resources found in the contract farming farms i.e, diseases whose average probability was 39.43 percent, weather changes - 31.93 percent, poorer DOC quality - 24.23 percent, and predators - 12.90 percent. Similiarly there were also four farm production risk resources found in the independent poultryman’s farm, i.e diseases whose probability of which was 50.00 percent, weather changes - 46.40 percent, predators - 23.30 percent, and poorer DOC quality - 18.10 percent.Based on t-test showed the risk production being largest for contract farming because p-value >α=0.05,so that no reject Ho. Risk mapping results indicate that there were two strategies, namely preventive and mitigation strategies. Diseases were a source of risk that had the highest possibility and the greatest impact. | id |
