Faktor-Faktor Pengikat Tenaga Kerja pada Sektor Pertanian di Kabupaten Karawang dan Desa Kabupaten Bogor

Abstract

The high number of agricultural labors in the middle of rapid growth of industrial sector revealed that there are factors that maintain the labors in agriculture. This binding factors are limited to the farmers characteristics and the availability of the essentials for agricultural development. This study is aimed to analyze the influence of the farmers characteristics and the availability of the essentials for agricultural development to the labor transformation factors on 60 farmers by using survey method in Purwadana Village, Karawang District and Tegal Wangi Village, Bogor District. The variabel of land area, the amount of agricultural income contribution, and the availability of the essentials for agricultural development on Purwadana Village respondents have significant negative influence to the labor transformation factors. The variabel of land area and the number of household members of Tegal Wangi Village farmers have significant negative influence to the labor transformation factors. The differences of the test results due to the different profit and loss calculation system of farming in those two villages.
