dc.description.abstract | Rice production in Indonesia is getting decreased due to the presence of land conversion to non-agricultural sector. One area of West Java that having decline of crop land area is Bogor District. Production decrease of 7.54% from 2010 is caused by the reduced of crop land area that reaches 6 183 ha from 2010 to 2011. Increasing rice productivity isn’t always able to increase the amount of milled rice production if it is followed by a decrease in crop land area. The objectives of this research are to identify performance of rice farmers and analyze the income of rice farming in the Ciasihan Village. The research results indicate that rice farming is still viable seen from the amount of income, is Rp 5.545.169/season. The value of the ratio R / C of rice farming in the ciasihan village is 1.33. Therefore, to increase the income of farmers, the government can provide training and counseling, supporting equipment,and facilities for meetings. | en |
