dc.description.abstractOne of processed products from coconut fruit that already been known is coconut oil. Coconut oil factory is located in Ciamis as an informal businesses. The purpose of this research is to analyze profitability and value added of coconut oil and its side product called galendo. Research was conducted at three coconut oil factories in Ciamis which have different scale. The results of this research show that all factories are profitable. Mr. Nana’s factory with medium scale capacity is the most profitable business. But, factory that produces the most profitable coconut oil and galendo is Mr. Babas’ factory. Highest profitability product is influenced by product innovation. From value added analysis shows Mr. Babas has the highest added value in coconut oil and Mr. Nana has the highest added value in galendo.en
