dc.description.abstractThe increasingly public awareness about food safety on used frying oil and the increasingly serious environmental destruction have made biodiesel from used frying oil to become an alternative fuel for replacing diesel fuel position in most conventional diesel engines. Transesterification of used frying oil with methanol, in the presence of 1% sodium , hydroxide catalyst (base on weight of oil) was applied in this work.
