dc.description.abstractThe objectives of this research was to identify the push and pull factors that influence household decisions farmers circular migration, as well as analyzing the effect arising from circular migration to changes in children's education, social roles, patterns of farmers working hours, and the division of labor in farm households. The research was conducted in the Desa Pamanukan Hilir, Kecamatan Pamanukan, Kabupaten Subang. The research uses a quantitative approach to qualitative data supported by survey research methods. In the study it was found that circular migration affects the social conditions of farming households, among them: 1) The main factor farmers kepememiliki circular migration due to lack of land that affect the level of income (economics); (2) Farmers who migrated circularly adjust the division of labor in the household; (3) Households of migrant farmers have more motivation to achieve higher education of children; (4) Farmers use the grace period to work outside the agricultural sector, which affects the reduction of working hours in farming; and (5) Most of the social role of husband and wife when the husband is replaced doing migration.en
