Hubungan Karakter Wirausaha terhadap Keberhasilan Usaha Tanaman Hias di Kelurahan Meruya Selatan, Kecamatan Kembangan, DKI Jakarta

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is an answer of unemployement problem in Jakarta and ornamental plants is one of business that can be developed in Jakarta. Meruya Selatan is one of area that can be considered as a successful ornamental plants developer in Jakarta. The continuity of ornamental plants business in Meruya Selatan even become one of the centers of ornamental plants in Jakarta could not be separated from the character owned by the businessman. Business scale and business revenue has become a benchmark of the success. The objective of this research is to discover the correlation entrepreneur character with the entrepreneur success that was gathered in Meruya Selatan. The correlation was analyzed using the Rank Spearman analysis tool. The result for future oriented, innovative, risk taking, hard working, and confidence are the P-value is lower than the α degree (α=10%). Furthermore, the result means that those four factors significantly affected the ornamental plants business success. Meanwhile, responsible is notsignificantly the ornamental plants business success.
