Faktor-faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Pemanfaatan Cyber Extension

Abstract

Cyber extension generally aims to develop agricultural information system based on integrated web; efficient; and beneficial to the agricultural extension, the extension institutional, and also agribusiness actors or society in general. The aims of this study were to determine the relationships of agricultural extension counselor characteristic, the counselor perceptions of cyber extension characteristics, and associated external factors of the intensity use of cyber extension and level of perceived usefulness. This study used survey method with a a sample of 36 agricultural extension counselors that used cyber extension. Results of statistical analysis of Spearman Rank test and Chi-Square showed that only age, the modern mass media possession, the experience of using the internet, and the level of motivation which had associated with the intensity use of cyber extension and level of perceived usefulness. While for the perceptions of the characteristics of cyber extension showed that only one perception variable had related with the extension and intensity use of cyber extension and level of perceived, which is perceived level of probability attempt of cyber extension. The result showed that no relation of external factors with intensity of use of cyber extension and level of perceived usefulness.
