Peran dan Status Perempuan Petani Padi dalam Program Pertanian Go Organik di Kabupaten Bogor

Abstract

Go Organic Agriculture Program is a program meant to maintain the quality of the natural resources. Ciburuy village in Bogor Regency is one of the land rice farming village that apply organic farming. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role and status of women rice farmers in theagriculture programs Go Organic. The results showed that: (1) The role and status of women in the rice farmers agriculture program of Go Organic is relatively lower than men. The level of women's workload and control of the program's resources is relatively lower than men. Women workers are still considered as the extra energy that helps working men because considered as a weaker, indicating stereotype issues in the program; (2) Ownership of land relatedto the role of women in the agriculture program of Go Organik ; (3) The area of land, position in society, and access to resources related to women's status in the agriculture program of Go Organic.
